This role is both strategic and deeply hands-on, responsible for designing, building, securing, and operating the platform that powers IntelliSPEC's industrial-grade solutions.You will operate at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity, enabling fast, safe delivery while ensuring resilience, compliance readiness, and production excellence. This role establishes the foundation for how IntelliSPEC scales securely.The TeamYou will join IntelliSPEC's Product and Technology organization as the owner of the DevSecOps function, working closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Product leaders. While this is initially a solo role, it is designed to scale into a broader platform and security team as the organization grows.What We're Looking For - Required8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps rolesProven experience owning cloud infrastructure end-to-end in production environmentsStrong hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or equivalent)Deep experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CIStrong experience implementing cloud security controls including IAM, secrets management, encryption, network security, and vulnerability managementStrong understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, logging, and incident responseAbility to operate independently, make architectural decisions, and prioritize work based on risk and business impactWhat We're Looking For - PreferredExperience operating Azure-based platforms in enterprise environmentsExperience implementing zero-trust or identity-first security architecturesExperience supporting SOC2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworksExperience in industrial, safety-critical, or regulated environmentsExperience with observability tooling such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or DatadogKey ResponsibilitiesOwn the design, implementation, and operation of IntelliSPEC's cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as CodeBuild and maintain secure, reliable CI/CD pipelines with embedded quality and security gatesDefine and enforce cloud security standards including identity, secrets, encryption, and network policiesPartner with engineering teams to improve deployment safety, reliability, and incident responseEstablish monitoring, logging, alerting, and on-call practices for production systemsDrive vulnerability management, patching, and remediation workflowsSupport audit readiness and compliance requirements through automation and evidence generationContinuously improve platform resilience, cost efficiency, and operational maturityAbout IntelliSPECIntelliSPEC is transforming industrial operations with a unified, intelligent platform built for safety, reliability, and efficiency.
