This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, comfort working across the full stack, architectural thinking, product curiosity, and adaptability in a rapidly evolving AI-augmented development landscape.You will work across backend services (C#), frontend applications (JavaScript, Svelte 5), Azure serverless infrastructure, and emerging data/AI pipelines. You will collaborate with product, design, compliance, implementation, and data teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.We are not looking for someone who passively implements tickets. We are looking for someone who sees the broader problem, anticipates risks, proposes better approaches, articulates clear product and technical ideas, and takes ownership of moving the product forward.*We are looking for engineers who measure their work by impact, not activity.**Key Responsibilities:** Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across backend and frontend systems* Write secure, well-tested, maintainable code* Contribute to architectural decisions across services and data flows* Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering quality standards* Work directly with product and design to clarify ambiguous requirements* Proactively identify edge cases and system implications* Articulate product improvement ideas clearly in writing and discussion* Contribute structured proposals that connect technical changes to user value and business impact* Contribute to Azure serverless infrastructure design and evolution* Support real-time and batch data pipelines (Python, Spark)* Ensure proper handling of PHI and HIPAA compliance requirements* Leverage AI tools responsibly while maintaining engineering rigor* Take initiative beyond assigned tasks and thrive in startup ambiguity*Qualifications:*Required:* 3+ years professional software engineering experience (flexible for exceptional candidates).* Strong proficiency in C# and modern JavaScript* Experience building and maintaining production systems* Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, relational databases, and testing practices* Experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred)* Demonstrated ability to take ownership and work independently* Ability to clearly articulate technical and product ideas and defend tradeoffs through structured reasoningPreferred:* BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field* Experience working with advanced multi-agent AI toolsets for disciplined software engineering design, development, and verification. xijylhu I.e., professional AI-assisted development; not vibe coding.
