Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide leave coverage as a School Nurse from March 23, 2026, through June 26, 2026. This full-time contract opportunity is based in Syracuse, NY, serving a high school setting.Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students, including health assessments, first aid, and managing chronic conditionsMaintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentialityCollaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and wellnessAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedUse the Frontline medical system to document and track health information (preferred experience)Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care during school hoursQualifications:Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)Prior School Nurse experience is preferred, especially in high school environmentsExperience with Frontline medical system is an advantageStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamSchedule & Location:Full-time, 40 hours per weekMonday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute paid lunch breakLocated in Syracuse, New YorkBenefits:Competitive pay range of $35-40/hour based on experienceWeekly pay for dependable incomeGuaranteed hours throughout the contract durationAccess to exceptional health benefits and 401(k) packageThis position offers an excellent opportunity to support student health during a critical period.
