JOB DESCRIPTION: Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.REPORTS TO: APP Physician LiaisonDEFINITION OF POSITION: We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to diagnose and treat acute and chronic GI health conditions, as well as promote good health practices. You will see patients in both clinics and the inpatient care setting. Duties include conducting physical examinations, initiating work up and treatment, interpreting lab tests, and overseeing patients? plan of care. You will be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. Experience in one of the following subspecialties preferred: acute care, cardiology, family health, women?s health or urgent care, preference for experience in gastroenterology. As a nurse practitioner or physician assistant, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, a team spirit, positive attitude, and strong work ethic is required. Patience, critical thinking, and good communication are a must.
