About Us We are a busy, customer-focused auto body repair shop committed to high-quality workmanship, efficient service, and excellent customer satisfaction.Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.We are looking for a reliable and experienced Assistant Manager to help oversee daily operations, support technicians, and ensure smooth workflow in the shop.Position Summary The Auto Body Shop Assistant Manager supports the Shop Manager in overseeing daily operations, coordinating repair schedules, assisting with customer communication, and ensuring repairs meet quality and safety standards.This role requires strong leadership, organization, and knowledge of collision repair processes.Key Responsibilities Assist in managing daily shop operations and workflow Coordinate repair schedules and technician assignments Communicate with customers regarding repair status, timelines, and estimates Support the preparation and review of repair estimates and insurance documentation Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and manufacturer standards Help manage parts ordering and inventory Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Assist with employee supervision, training, and performance monitoring Address customer concerns and help resolve issues professionally Support administrative tasks including invoicing, documentation, and reporting Qualifications 2+ years of experience in an auto body shop or collision repair environment Prior leadership xijylhu or supervisory experience preferred but not mandatory Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and shop workflow Experience working with insurance companies and repair estimates is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with shop management or estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex, etc.) preferred Valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience
