This part-time position offers approximately 5-10 hours per week, from March 9, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with no Extended School Year (ESY) services required.Key responsibilities include providing weekly therapeutic sessions to a caseload of four students across multiple school sites. Session durations will vary as follows:One 45-minute session per weekTwo 30-minute sessions per weekOne 85-minute session per weekIn addition to direct therapy, the role involves conducting thorough assessments and participating in annual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student progress and educational planning.Qualifications:Possession of one of the following certifications is required: Certificate from the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification Certificate from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification from the National Recreation and Park Association authorizing services in recreation or therapeutic recreationThis position is well-suited for professionals looking to offer specialized therapeutic support in a school setting while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule.
