Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide essential healthcare services within a school setting in North Las Vegas, NV. This role is ideal for an experienced LPN with a passion for supporting the health and well-being of school-aged children, focusing on diabetic care.Responsibilities:Provide diabetic coverage including blood sugar monitoring and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) checksDeliver nursing care during AM hours, Monday through Thursday, at a designated elementary schoolCollaborate with school staff to ensure student health plans are followedMaintain accurate health records and communicate medical concerns promptlyComply with all school district policies and healthcare protocolsQualifications:Active LPN or LVN licensureCurrent CPR/BLS certificationExperience in pediatric nursing or school health services preferredAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentSuccessful completion of background check and 10-panel drug screening as required by the school districtPosition Details:Location: North Las Vegas, NV (Las Vegas area)Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, half-day AM shiftsTerm: Contract position running ASAP through May 22, 2026Caseload: Single elementary school focus, primarily supporting students with diabetesThis opportunity allows for professional contribution in a supportive educational environment, focusing on critical healthcare needs during school hours.
