This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional neurological and intensive care services.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and assess ICU patients conditions, focusing on neurological status.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Utilize strong neuro skills and ICP experience to manage complex cases.Implement protocols using BLS, ACLS, and CERT-NIH Stroke Scale certifications.Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized patient care plans.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.Ensure adherence to safety and infection control policies.Qualifications and Experience:Valid RN license with at least 1 year of ICU nursing experience.Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and CERT-NIH Stroke Scale.Demonstrated experience with intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring.Strong neurological nursing skills are essential.Proficient in critical thinking and patient assessment in fast-paced environments.Navy blue scrub attire required for this role.Schedule and Commitment:12-hour night shifts.36 hours per week.Start dates available on 3/23 and 4/6.Contract position.Location Highlights:Lakeland, FL, offers a warm, welcoming community with beautiful lakes, parks, and a vibrant downtown area.
