The position is based in Waipahu, HI, offering a unique opportunity to practice in a vibrant community setting known for its rich cultural diversity and tropical climate.Key Qualifications and Experience:Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferredActive, unencumbered Hawaii RN license is mandatoryCurrent BLS/HCP and ACLS certifications requiredSpecialty certifications (CNN, CDN) are highly desirableMust achieve at least 80% on EKG exam during orientationAll licenses and certifications must be valid throughout the contract durationMinimum of two years full-time acute hemodialysis experience before any travel assignmentsPreferred: One year of full-time Telemetry or ICU RN experience prior to acute HDExperience in a large medical center environment (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma) is highly preferredJob Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality dialysis care to patients in an acute settingMonitor and assess patient conditions continuously, responding quickly to any changesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and effective treatment plansMaintain accurate and timely documentation according to facility guidelinesAdhere strictly to infection control policies and safety regulationsCompliance and Onboarding Requirements:All mandatory compliance documentation must be submitted no later than 10 days prior to the contract start dateFailure to complete compliance timely will result in a delayed start or cancellation of the contractCurrent NURSYS report must accompany all submissionsLocation Highlights:Waipahu is situated on the island of Oahu, blending a welcoming community atmosphere with access to beautiful beaches and scenic landscapes.
