LHH has partnered with a couple of established construction companies in search for Payroll Specialists to support weeky payroll. Both roles works closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with union, prevailing wage, and certified payroll requirements. The positions collaborate with accounting and project teams and serves as a key resource for payroll-related questions.Interested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.Responsibilities of This Payroll Specialist Include:Processing weekly, full-cycle payroll for approximately 150+ employeesReviewing timecards, entering payroll data, and resolving employee payroll inquiriesPreparing and submitting certified payroll reports and required compliance documentationSupporting union reporting, benefit submissions, and communication with union representativesMaintaining accurate payroll records and employee data within payroll systemsAssisting with audits and providing payroll reports as requestedHelp HR with new hires, terminations, pay changes, and job classificationsMinimum Requirements:3+ years of relevant construction payroll experienceRequired experience with certified payroll, union labor, and prevailing wage regulationsKnowledge of union reporting and fringe benefit administrationAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with payroll software and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and clear communication skillsBenefit offerings include competitive salary with excellent benefits; medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, and 401K plan with employer match.
