We're hiring a loan partner who will work directly alongside our loan origination staff to help our applicants through the mortgage loan process. You'll get applicants mortgage-ready, prepare paperwork, and manage pre-approved loan files - including loan program placement, calculating income, running credit, DU/LP, and even selling the loan package on occasion.Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.If you're a detail-oriented employee with strong communication and time management skills, willing to work after hours and weekends, and love the mortgage industry, we highly encourage you to apply - start your application today!!!Loan Officer Experience or Underwriting Experience Preferred$55,000 - $65,000 base SALARY COE (+ bonus $15,000-20,000) Total first year 70,000-85,000 ~depending on how many loans you can handle.Compensation:$60,000 - $70,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as neededVerify all loan package documentation received is accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and procedures and report any discrepancies to the loan originator/ loan officerCoordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperworkAct as the primary contact between our clients and our company and schedule and conduct meetings to discuss any follow-up issues or items that need to be addressedFollow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer serviceQualifications:At least 5+ years of professional office environment required, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistantPreferred degree in banking or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is requiredNMLS license or training is not required, but is desiredMS Office proficiency required; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferredPossess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.About CompanyAt American Mortgage Services, Inc., we offer more loan programs with fewer restrictions than most banks and credit unions.
