Infuse Hospitality, part of the Phoenix3 Collective portfolio, is seeking a proactive, friendly, and detail-oriented Barista to serve as the welcoming face of our café and deliver an exceptional guest experience.Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, coffee, energized by fast-paced service, and committed to creating memorable moments for every guest.What You'll DoDeliver outstanding hospitality and ensure every guest experience is warm, efficient, and memorableAccurately take and input orders into the POS systemPrepare espresso beverages and other menu items to the highest quality and presentation standardsMaintain strong knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and brewing techniques to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendationsOperate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and related equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environmentMerchandise display food items attractively and according to brand standardsFollow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocolsMonitor inventory levels and restock supplies to support seamless daily operations.Core ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation & ServicePrepare high-quality espresso, coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelinesEnsure consistent taste, temperature, and quality of all beveragesCustomize drinks to meet guest preferences and dietary needsCustomer ServiceGreet and engage guests warmly and professionallyTake accurate orders and provide recommendations when appropriateMaintain a clean, inviting, and organized service areaHandle guest concerns or complaints promptly, escalating when necessaryOperational EfficiencyOperate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain proper stock of coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies for smooth serviceClean and sanitize equipment, counters, and service areas throughout the shiftAssist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day reconciliationTeamwork & CommunicationCollaborate effectively with fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and FOH team membersCommunicate clearly regarding inventory needs, equipment issues, and service prioritiesSupport training and development of new team members as neededHealth, Safety & ComplianceMust have a valid Food Handler's CardFollow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelinesAdhere to company policies regarding hygiene, dress code, and professional conductContinuous ImprovementStay informed on new beverage trends and techniquesSuggest process improvements to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.What You BringPrevious barista experience requiredKnowledge of coffee brewing techniques; latte art experience a plusFamiliarity with Square POS preferredStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of food safety and proper handling proceduresExcellent communication skillsA genuine passion for coffee and eagerness to continue learningAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbsAbility to commute to San Francisco, CA 94158 or relocate prior to start dateInfuse Hospitality, part of the Phoenix3 Collective portfolio, provides culinary and hospitality solutions for corporate workplaces, specialty venues, and the activation of mixed-use spaces.
