Panama City Automotive group, John Lee Nissan Mazda is looking for the newest member of their accounting team! This is a structured growth opportunity designed for someone looking to build a long-term career in automotive accounting. Job duties and requirements are as follows:· Learn and perform foundational accounting tasks.· Maintaining accounting schedules regularly.· Assist with daily office operations and administrative support· Account reconciliations· Work closely with senior accounting staff to receive hands-on training and cross training· Develop an understanding of dealership operations, compliance, and reporting· Must be able to coordinate and effectively communicate information to Office Manager, Controller and other associates.· Must be properly groomed, professional in presentation and in compliance with Dealership dress code.· Hours of work are Monday through Friday. There may be additional hours & weekend work depending on activities in the Dealership.· Must have experience in all Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Data entry experience required.· Various tasks to assist the accounting office activities in support of the other Sales oriented departments of the dealership. · Provide administrative support to management, other departments and employees as needed.· Must be dependable and detail orientated. Ability to work with minimal supervision.· Must be accustomed to working under strict deadlines.· Excellent written, verbal and communication skills required.
