This role plays a key part in enabling next‑generation AI and GPU infrastructure, with strong potential for growth and long‑term career advancement.Why This Role Stands OutWork on a top‑priority AI/GPU deployment projectBe part of a hyperscale environment undergoing major expansionStrong upward mobility and conversion potentialDrive impact on cutting‑edge datacenter and AI server operationsSupport one of the fastest‑growing cloud infrastructures in the worldKey ResponsibilitiesData Center OperationsApply expert knowledge of procedures for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and decommissioning datacenter hardwareUnderstand how server and network components function and interactComplete assigned tickets efficiently and meet task KPIs and SLAsFollow all operational standards, processes, and documentationService DeliveryPrepare, stage, and install equipment (racks, drives, switches, cabling) using provided guides and checklistsVerify grounding, labeling, staging, and cabling meet quality and safety standardsConduct post‑execution quality checksPerform advanced diagnostics to quickly identify root‑cause issuesDecommission hardware for complex systems or full‑rack changesEnsure all decommissions meet security compliance requirementsReport and escalate incidents through the correct operational channelsWork Environment & SafetyParticipate in daily safety briefings and required safety trainingFollow all datacenter safety standards (equipment, lifting, electrical, ladders, etc.)Comply with security and data‑handling protocolsMay oversee a small team of 5–10 supplier resources if neededTop Skills Needed2+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or similar technologiesPrevious datacenter environment experienceStrong hardware troubleshooting and Break/Fix skillsExperience with GPU or high‑density compute environments is a plusAdditional RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalentBasic understanding of computer hardware componentsFlexibility to work non‑standard hours, including weekends/holidaysWillingness to commute to the Fayetteville, GA datacenter locationShift Details12‑hour shifts | 7 AM–7 PMRotating A/B schedule:A‑Side: Sunday–Tuesday and every other WednesdayB‑Side: Thursday–Saturday and every other WednesdayL5/SME candidates may start 15–30 minutes early for priority updatesEvaluation & Interview ProcessInitial recruiter qualification (recorded questions)Online technical assessment (90%+ required to advance)30‑minute technical interview with delivery/practice teamReason for HiringThis project is time‑sensitive and mission‑critical. Additional staffing is required to meet operational deadlines and avoid significant business impact due to the scale of GPU/AI deployments.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, GA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
