What You’ll DoAs part of a 24x7 Global Network Support Center (GNSC), you’ll support Transport, IP, and Unified Capabilities (UC) environments by:Investigating network and telecommunications system incidentsIdentifying, documenting, and resolving network errorsAnalyzing alarms and performance indicators to proactively identify issuesConfiguring, testing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining:Routers, switches, firewalls, and cryptographic devicesVoice and unified communications systems (VOIP, PBX, voicemail, call managers)Video Teleconference (VTC) and video distribution systemsOptical, ATM, Promina, MSPP, and transport network systemsEnsuring optimal performance while maintaining strict security and compliance standards✅ What You BringRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma plus 3+ years of relevant technical experienceDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) – required prior to startActive Secret Security ClearanceAbility to work rotational shifts in a 24/7 operational environmentExperience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, or performance managementSolid understanding of transport and IP network topologiesTechnical Experience with One or More of the Following:Routers, switches, and cryptographic devicesCisco networking technologiesVOIP, Unified Communications, PBX systemsAvaya, Nortel, Call Manager platformsPromina, MSPP, Optical SwitchingDSN/DRSN, GVS⭐ Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh level of professionalism required for work on an Active Air Force BaseStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skillsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
