Cobble Hills most popular children's boutique is looking for a part time sales associate to join our team. This is a key holder position and does require a high level of accountability and retail experience. We are a small team of fun and hard working professionals who take pride in our customer service and expertise in the childrens market.This is a sales floor position with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals along with some guided visual merchandising responsibilities. The associate will also work alongside the manager, owner and buyer to make sure that all customer requests, reorders and store needs are being met. An opportunity for additional growth into the buying aspects of the business are available and encouraged based upon performance.Opening and closing duties will also include maintaining a clean and inviting store, back of shop organization and communicating with the store's management team.Previous apparel retail experience is required. Candidates without this experience need not apply.The ideal candidate will be a college graduate with an outgoing, upbeat person with a passion for fashion merchandising and a love for kids! We are a fun loving group of very hard working people so a self-starter who takes initiative is a MUST!Qualifications:- This is a part time, 2-4 day per week position requiring 16-32 hours in store on any given week. Must be available to work some weekend days in coordination with our other sales associates. Scheduling is flexible and set on a monthly basis to allow for proper planning.- Sales associate must have a proven track record of driving sales.- Visual Merchandising interest and experience with a focus on apparel- Candidate must be RELIABLE, presentable, professional, punctual, mature.- Sales associate must be able to multi-task, be a creative thinker, and a self-starter. They must take initiative and be invested in both individual and team goals.- Must love kids! We love our customers and their families!
