Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CNC Experimental Machinist to join our advanced manufacturing team. This role involves operating multi‑axis machining centers, creating CNC programs, and producing complex components with precision. The ideal candidate will have strong programming capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a highly technical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate 3‑axis and 5‑axis CNC milling machinesCreate machine programs using MastercamPerform conventional machining as neededInterpret and work from engineering drawings, specifications, and process plansCollaborate effectively with engineers, machinists, and team leadsMaintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety in all machining operationsBasic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 5 years of CNC programming and machining experienceStrong proficiency with Mastercam for 3‑axis and 5‑axis programmingPrior experience operating Haas CNC machinesAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, including eligibility for special access requirementsWillingness to work 1st or 2nd shift and overtime as requiredPreferred Qualifications10+ years of related CNC machining experienceExperience operating Mazak CNC machinesAbility to operate EDM and Plunge/Sinker machinesActive Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for specialized access programsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Redondo Beach, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
