Matrix Providers has a civilian opportunity for a full-time Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide outpatient, clinical care to the U.S. military and their families at the United States Air Force Academy located in Colorado Springs, CO. The Government will accept any state license.Role: Licensed Clinical Psychologist | Full-time EmployeeCompensation: $72.00/hrSchedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM | 40 hours per weekCompetitive compensation and excellent benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life coverage)401K with Employer Match3 weeks of Paid Time Off + 11 Federal Holidays Paid OffLife Insurance | Disability Insurance | FSA | Commuter BenefitsQualification Requirements:Must possess a Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited Psychology program and completed an APA-accredited internship.Must possess a U.S. state license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist.Must possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.Must be able to provide clinical competencies within the last 2 years. Also, Clinical Psychologist shall have experience delivering one or more of the following evidence-based trauma modalities: Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and/or Written Exposure Therapy. Furthermore, the Clinical Psychologist shall have at least two (2) years professional experience working in an outpatient mental health clinic.Core Duties:Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.Assist in rehabilitation of patients.Use medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities, and treatment procedures. This includes acute, chronic, and traumatic illnesses/injuries, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology. Independently provide counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, couples, and families. Must practice within the bounds of the license or certification. Provide consultation services to other staff about the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on healthcare and compliance with treatment.
