Job Title

Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse- Assist with patient assessments and document findings- Administer medication and assist with tube feedings as directed by healthcare professionals- Provide patient service and support, ensuring their comfort and safety- Assist with catheter care and other basic medical procedures- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff- Maintain a clean and organized patient environmentExperience:- Previous experience working as a nursing assistant or in a similar role is preferred- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficialSkills:- Proficiency in using healthcare systems and electronic medical records- Knowledge of basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering medication- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team- Understanding of patient privacy laws and regulationsPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diemPay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insurancePhysical Setting:* Acute care* Long term care* Rehabilitation centerSupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunities* Overtime payAbility to Commute:* Elgin, IL 60124 (Required)Work Location: In person
