You'll be part of a collaborative team delivering respiratory care to residents with conditions such as trach dependency, ventilator needs, seizure disorders, and developmental disabilities.A Day in the Life• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen delivery, trach and ventilator care, suctioning, and nebulizer treatments• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff on individualized care plans• Respond to emergent respiratory needs with professionalism and compassion• Support safe, engaging environments by monitoring and maintaining respiratory equipmentHow This Position Contributes to Our Mission• Provide essential respiratory care to enhance quality of life for medically fragile children• Help create a safe and healing environment for children facing complex medical and developmental challenges• Uphold our Core Values of Compassion, Excellence, Empowerment, and WellnessWhat You'll Need• Current KY licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (or ability to obtain)• Registered with NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care)• Current CPR/BLS certification• Experience working with ventilators and trachs preferred• Pediatric or long-term care experience is a plus• Willingness to work PRN hours including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed• Ability to pass background, drug screen, and medical records verificationWhy Join Us• Flexible scheduling for PRN staff• Mission-focused work environment• Supportive team with training and development opportunities• Opportunity to impact the lives of children with complex medical needsWho We AreHome of the Innocents has supported over 3,500 children and families in the past year alone.
