(Dental and Vision FREE after one year!)Pay Rate: $70,000-$80,000#2025Key Responsibilities:*Department Leadership:*Direct and manage all dietary department staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.*Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to food service and dietary operations.*Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., CMS, FDA, DOH).*Nutritional Services:*Plan, coordinate, and oversee the preparation and service of meals that meet the nutritional needs of residents, including those with special dietary restrictions.*Collaborate with Registered Dietitian (RD) and interdisciplinary team to develop and revise resident care plans.*Conduct regular meal audits and satisfaction surveys to ensure quality standards are met.*Sanitation and Safety:*Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (e.g., ServSafe).*Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free kitchen and dining area.*Oversee proper food storage, handling, and inventory control.*Budget and Procurement:*Manage department budget including food and supply purchasing.*Negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality.*Track and report on food costs and department expenditures.*Compliance and Documentation:*Maintain accurate records including menus, resident dietary notes, and sanitation inspections.*Prepare for and participate in facility surveys and inspections.*Implement corrective action plans as needed.Qualifications:*Education:*Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Service Management, or related field preferred.*Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) credentials highly preferred.*Experience:*Minimum of 3 years in food service management, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting.*Prior experience managing staff and budgets.*Skills and Abilities:*Strong leadership and organizational skills.*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.*In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards (CMS, state DOH, HACCP, etc.).*Proficient with dietary software and Microsoft Office Suite.:
