As we find ourselves amid a historical moment culturally, we are dedicated to increasing representation for people of all backgrounds in our industry.Job Responsibilities:Provide Speech Language Therapy and consult with family members and other professionals working with the familyFollow an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goalsCoach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and community settingsProvide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settingsEnsure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire teamPrepare progress reportsMaintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)Requirements:NY Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licenseEarly Intervention Experience OR Equivalent ExperiencePediatric Experience(preferred)Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)Strong Clinical & Interpersonal SkillsExcellent Written & Oral Communication SkillsCOVID-19 ConsiderationsWe take all the necessary precautions for the safety of our team and patients.
