This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a team of seven PAs and six surgeons, focusing primarily on assisting in surgeries for patients with complex cardiac conditions. The candidate will assist in advanced surgical procedures, including but not limited to, coronary artery bypass grafting with endoscopic saphenous vein and radial artery conduit harvesting, valve repair/replacement including TAVRs and Mitraclips, complex aortic cases, heart and lung transplants, temporary and durable VAD implantation, redo cardiac operations, ECMO cannulation/decannulation and organ procurement on DCD donors utilizing various procurement technologies such as normothermic regional perfusion (NRP) and extracorpeal perfusion and transport devices.
