We are under new ownership!*Job Overview*We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNAs to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This role is vital in delivering high-quality care to our residents. The CNA will work closely with nursing staff to monitor patient needs and contribute to their overall well-being.*Responsibilities** Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as transferring, turning and positioning, giving showers, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting and ensuring residents are clean.* Obtaining vital signs and weights and monitoring food and liquid intake. * Delivering meal trays to residents, ensuring food is appropriate to the resident’s care plan, delivering alternate food selections when requested and providing a positive dining experience.* Escorting residents to participate in therapy sessions and activities.* Responding to resident and family needs respectfully and with a positive manner in all interactions.* Making daily rounds on assigned residents in accordance with-in established guidelines.* Reporting data in resident records consistently, accurately and in a timely manner.* Consistently and promptly reporting resident changes of condition.* Complying with procedures for infection prevention including, but not limited to, hand washing, TB and Hepatitis B requirements and bloodborne pathogen regulations.* Following safety rules and requirements including lift and transfer procedures, hazard communication, electrical safety, slips, trips and falls policies, use of personal protective equipment and elopement procedures. (Examples: Must safely operate mechanical lifts, sit stand lift, gate belt, and meal and line carts, adjust beds and use shower equipment and wheelchairs.* Safely fulfilling all work assignments.* Safeguarding residents protected health information.* Providing other services such as cleaning wheelchairs and resident areas as assigned.* Other duties as assigned.Join our team as a CNAs where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents while advancing your career in the healthcare field.*Qualifications** Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification* Proficient in basic life support and patient care* Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation* Experience with EMR and EHR systems, including PCC* Ability to monitor vital signs and implement care plans* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient service standards* Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settingsJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $19.95 per hourExpected hours: 36 – 46 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Disability insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid sick time* Paid time off* Paid training* Vision insurancePhysical Setting:* Long term care* Nursing home* Rehabilitation centerSupplemental Pay:* Differential pay* Overtime payWork Location: In person
