Job Description

This is a full-time position working variable hours out of our Training HAUS location in Eagan providing physical therapy for athletes & other highly athletic populations.Evaluate and treat a wide variety of outpatient conditions effectively and efficiently in a professional manner.Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.Essential Functions:Routinely evaluate and treat outpatient conditions under physician’s orderCollaborate with physicians, managers and staff across the organizationAbility to work a flexible schedule based on clinic needs including but not limited to variable shifts, multiple clinic locations and hours that are not set on a week-to-week basisEffectively choose and apply wide variety of therapeutic exercises, modalities, manual therapy, and other treatments in accordance with Minnesota State Practice ActMaintain safe environment for self, staff and patientsApply lawful and ethical use of therapy services in daily treatmentsDirect supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist Assistant (PTA/COTA) may be requiredCollaborative work and treatment with Biomechanist and Athletic Training requiredCollaborative work with allied health professionals within Training HAUS requiredParticipate in continuing education routinely in order to maintain state licenseOccasionally evaluate and treat outpatient conditions under direct accessCommunicate with coworkers and patients in professional mannerPerform verbal and written communication with physicians and staffAbility to work in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic settingRoutinely participate and share knowledge obtained from continuing education courses with staff and the community at the direction of the department or organizationOccasionally participate in community functions relating to the outreach at TCO events throughout the yearAny and all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements:Master’s/Doctorate Degree in Physical TherapyActive Minnesota state licenseAdvanced Credentialing Required (SCS, OCS Preferred)CSCS PreferredHistory of working with high level athletesBenefits & Compensation:Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.We offer a comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Plan, Maternity Bundle, 401K with Profit Sharing, Tuition Reimbursement, Gym & Car Rental Discounts - to learn more click here.Essential Requirements:Ability to:Work in the clinic or office during business hours which may include night and weekends.Travel independently throughout the clinic/office (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be requiredPotential occasional travel outside of the clinic setting for meetings, continuing education and caring for patientsWork at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlinesConverse in a professional and respectful mannerApply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsUnderstand and execute a variety of instructionsEffectively operate clinic and office (e.g., PC.
