Medical Records / Transport CNATurn your job into a career with Evergreen Healthcare Group!JOB SUMMARYGardnerville Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Records / Transportation CNA to support resident care through medical records coordination and safe, timely transportation. This dual-role position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to resident safety and comfort.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMedical Records Duties:Maintain and organize resident medical records in compliance with facility policies and HIPAA regulations.Prepare, file, and retrieve medical records as needed by clinical and administrative staff.Assist in audits, chart reviews, and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.Support interdisciplinary teams with documentation-related tasks.Transportation Duties:Safely transport residents to and from appointments, clinics, or outings in a timely and courteous manner.Safely assist residents in transferring from beds, chairs, and vehicles as needed.Load and unload residents using proper lift techniques and safety protocols.Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.Immediately report any vehicle accidents, incidents, or traffic violations and complete all required documentation.EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCERequired: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordRequired: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standingPreferred: Experience with medical records management or clerical tasks in a healthcare settingBENEFIT HIGHLIGHTSPrivate Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental, Vision)UKG Wallet – Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow!Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramTraining & Development OpportunitiesAt Evergreen, we value loyalty, honesty, and a commitment to caring.
