Below is a non-exhaustive list of the physical requirements for this role.Must have the ability to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to anotherMust have the ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, and runningMust have the ability to move safely on irregular and or uneven terrainResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Engage students in SEL & PE curriculumCertify mandatory instructional minutes required for the programFacilitate, demonstrate, and participate in games with studentsSupervise different activities with groups of students such as games and distributing snackCreate a safe learning environment while implementing strong behavior management skills on the fieldAbility to communicate effectively with guardians and all facility membersBasic understanding of operating and navigating modern technologyAct as a positive and inspiring role modelDemonstrate exceptional customer service for all students and school staffFollow COVID 19 protocols outlined by the schoolPOSITION REQUIREMENTSCheerleading Experience: Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in cheerleading, preferably as a coach or assistant coach for competitive cheer teams or school cheerleading programs.Ability to create and implement cheer routines, choreograph cheers, and teach proper cheerleading techniques1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, or child development strongly preferredExperience working with children in a cheerleading environment, including teaching basic cheer skills, drills, and routines to beginnersAuthorized to work in the US18 years of ageCompletion of mandatory MDR training and any district required trainingsABOUT YOUPrevious Cheerleading Experience: Strong background in cheerleading, including competitive cheer or coaching experience.Strong ability to implement Elevo curriculum to students, using your cheerleading experience to engage them in physical activities and team-building exercisesExcellent communication and customer service skillsA can-do attitude and a natural curiosity for solving problemsExcellent behavioral management skillsThoroughly understand the organization’s goals & mission, and apply these values while teaching cheerleading skills and participating in physical activities with students.Elevo is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
