*Job Overview**Nail Technician*Elements Salon & Wellness Spa is looking for a N*ail Technician *who is reliable, friendly, organized, and passionate about guest experience.We are looking for a Manicurist / Pedicurist to provide nail care treatments to our customers based on their needs and preferences. Responsibilities include polishing fingernails and toenails. If you’re up-to-date with nail techniques and know how to provide excellent customer service, we’d like to meet you.*Duties** Remove previously applied polish* Clean, cut and shape nails* Give hand and foot massages* Paint fingernails and toenails* Recommend colors and designs based on each customer’s style* Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments* Sterilize equipment after each use* Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. waxing & spa treatments)* Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)* Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate* Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)* Assist in BOH laundry needs*Compensation** 40% - 50% Commission based on experience - when seeing clients* $15 per hour - when not seeing clients*Requirements** Proven work experience as a Manicurist / Pedicurist* Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques* Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards* Experience with Dazzle Dry & OPI - a plus* Knowledge of cosmetology trends* Strong communication and customer service skills* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail* Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.* Quick adaptability to our scheduling software (you'll be taught).* Certification in CosmetologyJob Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 30 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Free parking* Health insurance* Paid time offExperience:* Manicurist: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* Nail Technician License (Preferred)Work Location: In person
