A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Visual Communications Designer to join its Organizational Development (OD) team. This contractor will support enterprise-wide learning initiatives by transforming OD deliverables into polished, visually engaging materials that enhance storytelling and learner engagement.About the Opportunity:Location: Open to Pensacola, FL; Vienna, VA; or RemoteHours: Approximately 20 hours per week (flexible based on project needs)Setting: Corporate Learning & Organizational DevelopmentResponsibilities:Transforming OD deliverables (PowerPoint decks, frameworks, and models) into visually compelling materialsApplying modern design principles to improve clarity, flow, and engagement for adult learning audiencesCollaborating with OD team members to align visuals with messaging, audience, and learning objectivesCreating supporting assets, including icons, diagrams, infographics, and templatesEnsuring all visuals adhere to brand, tone, and accessibility standardsManaging multiple design requests while prioritizing key strategic initiativesQualifications:5+ years of experience in visual communications or presentation design, preferably in a corporate environmentBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related fieldAdvanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and presentation designExcellent attention to detail and time management skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsDesired Skills:Familiarity with Organizational Development, leadership development, or corporate learning environmentsExperience creating materials for executive-level or strategic audiencesAbility to visually interpret and represent OD frameworks and models
