They are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team and contribute to manufacturing high-tolerance, critical parts used in aviation and defense.This is a great opportunity to work in a hands-on, technical environment where attention to detail, safety, and quality are key.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes using Mastercam software.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols to machine precise components.Machine parts with tight tolerances using a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steel, steel alloys).Conduct in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and precision gauges.Perform tool selection and determine proper feeds and speeds for optimal machining.Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.Maintain equipment and adhere to quality and safety standards.Assist in minor machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on the floor.Minimum QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and programming.Proficiency with Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software.Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications including GD&T.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Fluent in English (written and verbal).Must be willing and able to spend the majority of time operating machines.Preferred QualificationsExperience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation.Forklift certification is a plus.ttg Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and recruiting agency.
