This role is responsible for providing accurate information regarding company HR policies, benefits, time off, and HR systems while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines. The representative will manage inquiries, process HR transactions, and escalate complex cases to internal experts when needed—all while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Respond to inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, paid time off, and leaves of absence via phone, email, and HR case systems.Guide associates and managers in navigating HR systems and self-service tools.Document call summaries and processing activities in the case management system.Escalate complex issues to internal HR teams, including Specialists, SMEs, and HR Business Partners.Ensure compliance with ERISA, FMLA, Sick Leave Policies, and other state/federal regulations.Support HR transactions within the HCM (Human Capital Management) system.Assist with ad hoc reports and HR-related projects.Serve as a primary point of contact for regional HR offices and distribution centers.Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive HR data is handled securely.Required Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.1–2 years of experience in HR support, shared services, or customer service roles.Demonstrated ability to manage high call volumes in a fast-paced environment.Nice-to-Have Experience:Experience using HR systems (Workday, Oracle, or SAP HCM).Familiarity with benefits administration or leave management processes.Prior experience supporting HR within a large retail or corporate environment.Required Skills:Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.Strong customer service and follow-through abilities.Preferred Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Ability to handle difficult callers with patience and professionalism.Strong confidentiality awareness and data privacy knowledge.Additional Skills:Case documentation in HR systems.Adaptability and willingness to cross-train.Problem-solving and decision-making within defined procedures.Benefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the Client:Off-Price Apparel and Home Retailer — a Fortune 500 company and the leading off-price apparel and home fashion retailer in the U.S. and worldwide.
