Job Title

As the Lead Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants ages six weeks to 18 months. You will be responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each child, supervising assistant teachers and ensuring staffing ratios are maintained. In addition the lead teacher will collaborate with parents to support their child's growth.*Key Responsibilities:** Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.* Utilize observation and assessment to adapt lessons to meet individual children's needs.* Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for infants.* Monitor and respond to children's needs, ensuring their health and safety at all times.* Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities to include updates on developmental milestones.* Work closely with assistant teachers and support staff to create a cohesive team environment.* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and ongoing professional development.* Keep accurate records of each child's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur.* Prepare reports for parents and management as needed.*Skills*Patience and nurturing demeanor.strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work collaboratively with a team.*Qualifications:*Bachelors or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a Child Development Associate (CDA) required.Depending on degree/credential a minimum of one to two years of experience required.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Tuition reimbursementApplication Question(s):* Do you have a CDA in Infant/Toddler, or a higher ECE credential?Experience:* Infant Lead Teaching: 1 year (Required)Ability to Commute:* Hudson, NY 12534 (Required)Work Location: In person
