*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining the standards of our dietary department. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.*Duties** Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.* Utilize various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, baking, and frying.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.* Assist in menu planning and development to enhance dining experiences.* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed.* Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety procedures.*Requirements** Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.* Proficient in meal preparation with the ability to use kitchen equipment effectively.* Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus.* Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food presentation.* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.* Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.* Must not have alcohol or substance abuse issues, we strive to provide an excellent working environment for our employees.* Excellent Attendance record is critical to our succuss and your success.Join us in creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional culinary skills!
