*Are you struggling with large class sizes and the limitations put on you as a teacher?**Would you like the freedom to teach in a way where all children are given the tools to succeed?*Core Education Academy is a Non-Profit innovative alternative to the traditional classroom experience.We are searching for a reliable, caring teacher passionate about making a difference to children with different learning styles. You will facilitate a hands-on, experiential learning environment with cross-curriculum support for children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADD, ADHD, anxiety & other specific learning disabilities. You will also attend and help facilitate weekly field trips, life skills, and social-emotional learning...making sure we have a lot of fun while engaging the whole child.We currently have an opening for a classroom teacher for grades 5th- 8th. Our small class sizes allow you the opportunity to make meaningful connections with our students. We specialize in multi-sensory teaching styles, so please be prepared to complete our intensive training program.* Need a teacher for 25-26 school year* Only applicants that are available for a long-term commitment need to apply (minimum one school year)* School hours are 9:00 am – 2:30 pm* You will be required to attend weekly staff meetings and ongoing teacher training, as needed*Compensation:** Salary $40,000 - $60,000 with benefits (12-month contract)* Potential to earn $25 - $50/ hr supporting and teaching summer classes (eligible after first year)* *Additional income potential*: Academic Coaching (after school & summer) available $25-$50 per hour ($5000-$15,000 additional income per year)*Qualifications:** At least 2 years teaching Language Arts in a classroom experience essential, preferably within middle school* Experience with ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning disabilities a huge plus* Teaching credentials or BA/BS degree preferred*Looking for team players who can:** Provide meaningful feedback to the team and receive feedback as a way to grow and learn* Prioritize our team over their success and raise questions to strengthen our team* Work well with both horizontal and vertical colleagues* Have a growth mindset - think out of the box and identify and fill needs without being instructed to do so*Training:** Complete our school's specialized intensive academic training program.If this is your passion, please apply.
