In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of established clinical research coordinators and oversee a diverse portfolio of active clinical trials. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding and enhancing our research program, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.*Key Responsibilities:** *Team Leadership & Mentorship:* Lead, mentor, and support a team of clinical research coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.* *Clinical Trial Oversight:* Manage all aspects of clinical trials, including patient recruitment, screening, enrollment, and data collection, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.* *Physician & Sponsor Liaison:* Serve as the primary point of contact for physicians regarding study protocols and act as the liaison between the research team, external sponsors, and vendors.* *Program Expansion:* Develop and implement strategies to grow and diversify the clinical research program, identifying new opportunities and enhancing existing studies.* *Regulatory Compliance:* Ensure all clinical trial activities comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines, and other regulatory standards.* *Data Management & Reporting:* Oversee the accurate collection, verification, and management of clinical trial data, preparing regular reports for stakeholders.*What We’re Looking For:** *Experienced Leader:* Proven track record in leading and mentoring clinical research teams, with a strong focus on collaboration and professional development.* *Clinical Expertise:* Clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine in any licensed role (e.g., RN, technologist, medical assistant, etc.).* *Strategic Thinker:* Ability to develop and execute strategies to expand and enhance the clinical research program.* *Excellent Communicator:* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with physicians, sponsors, and team members.* *Detail-Oriented:* Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.*Experience & Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, healthcare, or clinical research).* Clinical research certification (e.g., CCRP) is a plus.* Experience managing clinical trials and leading research teams.* Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.*Why Bay Area Cardiology & Vascular Associates?*At Bay Area Cardiology & Vascular Associates, we believe in the power of innovation and are looking for professionals who are eager to make an impact in the field of cardiovascular research.
