*General Laborer *Data Metalcraft is hiring a General Laborer to learn and grow with our company. DMI is a manufacturer of formed sheet metal and welded fiber optic cabinets. We are an A rated supplier to our vendors and develop long lasting relationships.*Location: Arlington, MN**Available Shifts** *1st Shift-Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM**Work Conditions** The General Laborer will be working with a variety of cutting & finishing operations, on a variety of materials* The General Laborer will also be utilizing hardware insertion presses and miscellaneous small tools depending on job* Requires physical strength and endurance (manual labor)* Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, crouching*Best Candidates Will Possess These Skills** High school diploma or general education degree (GED)* Must work at a fast pace with strict deadlines* Ability to read blue prints* Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate themselves as a strong team player that cares about the quality of their work* Must be able to come to work on-time and prepared to do their job* Detail-oriented* Possess basic math skills, understands units of measurement* Ability to adapt and be flexible to an ever-changing work environment* Have positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn new equipment and processes*Key Responsibilities *Responsible for setting up and operating a variety of insertion and finishing presses, according to written and/or verbal instructions, established company procedures, safety and quality guidelines. They must also be capable of making adjustments to machines, to keep quality, registration and production speed at peak efficiency. The applicant should have good understanding of performing the following duties personally or through assistant personnel.* Receives job assignments & priorities from supervisor.
