With 15 locations, EZP is well-known in the communities that it serves.*Role*The EZ Pawn Corp Jewelry Team is seeking a Gemologist and Fine Jewelry Authenticator looking to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have experience in the field and a passion for vintage jewelry and diamonds.As a Gemologist and Fine Jewelry Authenticator you will:* Inspect vintage jewelry that has come out of pawn to ensure authentication - including Identifying, testing and authenticating the jewelry* Perform basic functions of jewelry cataloging, such as identifying material, confirm hall marks, weights, etc.* Identify and enter product attributes and specifications* Decide which items will be sold on which platforms (auction, wholesale, & retail)*Ideal Candidates** GIA GG or equivalent Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required* Experience in the jewelry field* Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills* Data entry skills s* Ability to work quickly with a high level of accuracy* Excellent team player* Truthful, Honest, and Reliable.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunities* Commission payExperience:* Jewelry: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* Gemologist Degree (Required)Ability to Commute:* Long Island City, NY 11101 (Required)Work Location: In person
