*Position*: Project Designer - Akouo Acoustics*Location*: Asheboro, NC*The Opportunity*An exciting opportunity is available for a Project Designer to join the Akouo Acoustics division of Sedia Systems. As part of our team, you will be a highly visible team member responsible for interfacing with our sales, product development, marketing and operations teams.*Responsibilities*:* *Concept Development*: Collaborate with clients to generate innovative design concepts.* *Design Creation*: Utilize software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp to create visual representations.* *Material and Equipment Selection*: Research and select appropriate materials and hardware.* *Technical Expertise*: Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.* *Collaboration and Communication*: Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate design activities.* *Documentation and Presentation*: Prepare comprehensive design documentation and present proposals to clients.* *Project Management Support*: Collaborate with project managers to monitor schedules and budgets.* *Quality Assurance*: Conduct design reviews to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.* *Research and Innovation*: Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.* *Product Design/Development*: Understanding of fabrication processes for acoustic manufacturing.*Requirements*:* Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rendering Software).* Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent.* Knowledge of construction and installation techniques.* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.* Experience in acoustic design is a plus.*Benefits*:Competitive compensation and benefits.*About Us*:Sedia Systems is a leading global manufacturer of lecture hall, auditorium and acoustic products for education, corporate, healthcare, government, and public assembly markets.
