More about us can be found at:*Job title: ** Worship Leader*Classification:** Part-time (with potential full-time opportunities)*Reporting to: ** Senior Pastor and Church Leadership*Requirements: ** Complete a background check* Have a personal, genuine, and growing relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ* Knowledge and understanding of the leading of the Holy Spirit* Heart for worship and leading God’s people into His presence through song* Knowledge of the technical aspects of music* Have the ability to play lead piano or guitar, and sing* Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) the use of Planning Center and Propresenter software* Familiarity with soundboard operation* Ability to lead the worship portion of weekly services*Salary: ** Part-time: $30,000 annually* Possibility of full-time opportunity available* Housing available*Responsibilities: ** Be actively involved in vision-based planning and design of music ministry with other members of church leadership* Lead a team of musicians and vocalists from within the church to conduct the worship portion of each weekly service* Selection of spirit-filled & biblically sound songs* We appreciate a variety of mix of song styles, including contemporary, southern gospel, and hymns.* Conduct rehearsals and prepare materials for members of the praise team/tech team* Communicate with the technology coordinator* Direct a church choir or ensemble of people at various times within the year, such as Christmas, Easter, etc.* The possibility for a weekly choir is a possibility* Lead a song by one's self or with the praise team for the altar call portion of the service* Assist in recruiting, equipping, and training volunteers to serve on the worship teamJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $30,000.00 per yearExpected hours: No less than 20 per weekBenefits:* Paid time off* Relocation assistanceApplication Question(s):* Expand on your musical background and experience leading worship.Ability to Commute:* Carnesville, GA 30521 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Carnesville, GA 30521: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
