*Harvest Mechanic*The harvest mechanic's responsibility is to repair and maintain harvest machines, tractors and forklifts in the field and in the shop. The position is full time, year round, working 6 days per week._Knowledge, Skills and Experience:_* Competent welding skills* Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems* Effective troubleshooting skills and systematically diagnose mechanical problems on harvest/farm equipment.* Operate forklifts, tractors and other harvest/farm equipment.* Ability to complete accurately and timely written documentation of maintenance records and work orders.* Ability to work independently in the field and also work in the shop as needed.* Ability to effectively communicate with field personnel.* Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)* Possess a valid driver license and clean record.* Willingness to relocate to Yuma, Arizona from November thru March and Salinas April through November.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hourExpected hours: 44 – 50 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceExperience:* mechanic: 4 years (Required)Language:* English and Spanish (Preferred)License/Certification:* Driver's License (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Yuma, AZ 85364: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
