*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for dogs while their owners are away. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a lively atmosphere.*Duties** Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups to ensure their safety and well-being.* Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including play areas and kennels.* Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their dietary needs.* Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or accidents.* Assist with administering medications as directed by pet owners or veterinary staff.* Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their dogs’ activities and behaviors during the day.* Conduct daily health checks on all dogs to identify any signs of illness or distress.* Participate in training sessions for dog handling techniques and safety protocols.* Use the MoeGo app to input information and communicate with clients.*Experience*Preferred candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:* Dog handling and care* Pet sitting or daycare experience* Customer service skills related to pet care* Knowledge of animal restraint techniques* Experience with heavy lifting as required for moving equipment or supplies* Familiarity with dog training methods* Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and movingIf you are passionate about animal care and looking to work in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Dog Daycare Attendant.Website: Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.50 per hourExpected hours: 8 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* On-the-job training* Opportunities for advancementShift:* Afternoon shift* Morning shiftWork Days:* Holidays* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
