SUMMARY:*Sets up and operates computer numerically controlled machines (CNC) to perform machining operations by performing the following duties.*II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*Read, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches of part to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements.· Locate and down load programs from a storage system.· Interpret work instructions.· Identify, select and install proper tooling for operations being performed.· Calculate proper feeds and speeds for a variety of materials.· Employee must be able to set up all necessary measuring equipment and routinely check the calibration of the equipment while measuring.· Understands capabilities of tooling and machinery.· Understand applicable quality systems and perform necessary quality inspections.· Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.· Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.· Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.· Maintains safe operations by adhering to all Innovative Hydraulics policies and procedures.· Apply principles of Lean Manufacturing to reduced setup times and improve productivity.· Seek out, identify, and actively participate in Continuous Improvement opportunities.· Create and maintain a lean team focused work environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Vision insuranceApplication Question(s):* If not in the area, do you plan to relocate?
