We are looking for a motivated and experienced *Lead Technician* to join our team and help continue our mission of restoring properties — and peace of mind — for our customers.*Position Summary*The *Lead Technician* is responsible for overseeing and performing restoration projects involving *water, fire, and mold damage*. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and industry best practices. The Lead Technician provides hands-on leadership in the field, manages crew members, communicates with customers and insurance adjusters, and ensures high-quality results on every job.*Key Responsibilities** Lead and perform restoration services including *water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke cleaning, deodorization, and mold remediation*.* Supervise and train field technicians, ensuring adherence to company procedures and safety protocols.* Conduct job site inspections, document progress, and communicate updates with project managers and office staff.* Monitor job progress and ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within scope.* Maintain equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe, and organized manner.* Provide exceptional customer service by explaining processes, managing expectations, and resolving concerns promptly.* Ensure all documentation (job notes, moisture readings, photos, etc.) is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.* Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements.*Qualifications** Minimum *2 years of experience* in the restoration industry (water, fire, and/or mold).* IICRC certifications preferred (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, etc.).* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.* Ability to work in varying environments, including confined spaces and in personal protective equipment (PPE).* Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be available for on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.*What We Offer** Competitive pay based on experience and certifications.* Opportunities for *career advancement and training*.* Company-provided uniforms, tools, and equipment.* Health and dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.* A supportive and professional team environment with a company that has served Maine for over two decades.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Vision insuranceLicense/Certification:* Driver's License (Required)Work Location: In person
