Spread across hundreds of acres along the southeastern border ofthe Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the property’s breathtaking elevation, open balds, and long-range views arecomplemented by classic comforts, perfectly rustic cuisine, humble hospitality, and hands-on, expert-led activities.Our Pastry Cooks are creative, passionate, and detailed oriented! We will be welcoming guests to our restaurantSwitchback and bar Tackroom, elevating the guest experience, accommodating guest requests, and anticipating needs tocreate an environment of personalized service in the dining room.Responsibilities include:1. Welcome guests to Switchback dining room and tell the story of Cataloochee Ranch.4. Create and provide memorable guest experiences.5. Communicate with Chef on Duty for any special instructions.6. Take visual inventory of items to ensure quality.7. Responsible for assisting on any Featured items for the day with the Chef.8. Must have all prep for lunch service ready when restaurant opens.9. Report any concerns to the Chef or FOH manager on duty.10. Keep busy and help in other areas as needed.11. Check the banquet board for any special parties.12. Duties will vary depending on business levels.13. Communicate effectively and respectfully with fellow co-workers and supervisors within area of responsibility.14. Work well with service staff and Chef on duty to ensure guest satisfaction.15. Report any concerns to Chef on duty if neededMinimum Requirements: A strong desire to provide memorable, authentic service.
