*Job Title*: Senior Applications Engineer - CNC Swiss Lathe Programmer*Department*: Operations*Reports to: *Chief Operations Officer*Schedule: *8am – 5pm, Monday - Friday*Company*: Mount Mfg is an orthopedic contract manufacturing company located in Marquette, MI. The company operates with a quality system that is ISO 13485:2016 certified and FDA registered. We serve companies both internationally and domestically.*Scope*: This is a multi-faceted role with responsibilities to both operations and quality.*Job Responsibilities*:* Program, Setup, and operate CNC Swiss Lathes* Research and procure tooling to improve product finishes, tool longevity, and reduce cost.* Design equipment to support the production environment (inspection fixtures, milling fixtures, laser fixtures, product gaging, etc.)* Develop manufacturing strategies that continue to support cutting edge manufacturing with quality and productivity as primary goal.* Ability to read and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5* Attend Pre-production Meetings as needed* Communicate with customers as needed* Must have social skills to adequately operate in a team environment and maintain a positive company culture* Act as a leader and instructor to new operators learning CNC machining* All other duties as assigned*Experience/Education*: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 5+ years experience in a relevant manufacturing environment.Minimum of 3 years of CNC Swiss-lathe programming experieneceExperience with 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485:2016Knowledge of common manufacturing processes such as CNC milling, CNC turning, blast finishing, laser marking, cleaning, passivation, anodization, heat treatment, forming, etc.Expected experience range between 5 and 15 years*Travel Requirements*: Minimal.
