*Overview*We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of infant and toddler-aged children. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational activities, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the overall well-being of each child.*Responsibilities** Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of infants and young toddlers.* Create lesson plans that are individualized for each child, at their skill level.* Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, ensuring a positive learning environment.* Provide individualized support for children with special educational needs through early intervention techniques.* Foster communication skills by encouraging verbal expression and active participation in group activities.* Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare and encourages exploration.* Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns related to their development.* Conduct assessments and standardized testing as necessary to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.* Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.*Skills** Strong experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.* Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.* Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and behavior management strategies.* Experience with special education practices and early intervention methods is highly desirable.* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.* Familiarity with the High Scope methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.* Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs within the classroom.
