This description represents the most significant job duties but does not exclude other work duties assigned or required but not mentioned.The Tool Maker / CNC Programmer develops programs by writing code to produce machined parts on the CNC mills and lathes. *Must have Okuma lathe experience.** Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blue prints, engineering plans and drawings.* Set up and Program CNC Lathe and Mill machining centers.* Experienced in Conversational Programming REQUIRED.* Maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies* Maintain specifications by observing, drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning and facing operations, take measurements, detect malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing work tools and quality assurance.* Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers, and fixtures and gauges to check work and perform detailed inspection of parts produced.* ATTENDANCE: Good attendance includes reporting to work on time, sticking to work schedules, being prepared to start work on time, remaining on the job during the workday to complete assigned duties and limited use of unscheduled leave.* QUALITY: Every employee has the responsibility “to do it right the first time” in order to provide the customer a product that meets their requirements* SAFETY: All employees will wear required safety equipment and comply with company safety rules, procedures and policies at all times* ACCOUNTIBILITY: Every employee will accept responsibility for the quantity and quality of their work and strive towards excellence.* This job description is subject to change with or without noticeJob Type: Full-timePay: From $22.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insurancePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyAbility to Commute:* Richmond, IN 47374 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Richmond, IN 47374: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
