As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate metal and plastic parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements - Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to complete the job - Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process - Adjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions of finished products - Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes Skills: - Proficient in operating milling machines and other CNC equipment - Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programming - Ability to fabricate parts using various materials - Experience operating a forklift for material handling purposes - Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and measurements - Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments - Understanding of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques is a plus - Proficiency in CAD software for reading and modifying blueprints - Familiarity with different types of tooling used in CNC machining Join our team as a CNC Machinist and contribute your skills to our manufacturing operations.
