*Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations Manager to lead our new branch office in East St Louis . This pivotal role combines leadership, administrative expertise, and operational oversight to create an efficient and productive workspace. As an Operations Manager, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, coordinating various functions from team management, all while fostering a positive and professional office culture. Your proactive approach and exceptional organizational skills will empower our team to thrive and achieve our collective goals. Solar Installation experience is REQUIRED for this position, please do NOT apply if you don't have it as your application will not be concidered.*Responsibilities** Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a seamless workflow across departments and functions.* Manage schedule coordination for meetings, appointments, and optimizing time management for crew members and leadership.* Supervise crew members providing training and support to perform seamless installations.* Coordinate vendor relationships, and manage procurement processes to ensure quality services and supplies.* Handle human resources functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records and supporting employee development initiatives.* Oversee bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, expense tracking, filing financial documents, and maintaining accurate records.* Manage office supplies inventory, equipment maintenance, and facilities management to maintain a professional environment.* Implement efficient filing systems—both digital and physical—and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards.* Assist with budgeting activities by monitoring expenses and preparing reports for leadership review.* Foster effective communication across teams through clear calendar management and timely dissemination of information.*Skills** *Experience*: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in solar PV installation (REQUIRED)* *Electrical Knowledge*: Familiarity with electrical systems and components.* *Blueprint Literacy*: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.* Proven experience in operations management and administrative roles with strong supervisory capabilities.* Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in scheduling, filing, and record keeping.* Proficiency in QuickBooks for payroll processing, bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting.* Strong vendor management skills to negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships.* Knowledge of human resources practices including onboarding, employee records management, and payroll administration.* Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with a professional phone etiquette on multi-line systems.* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.* Experience with calendar management tools to streamline scheduling for teams at all levels.* Demonstrated leadership in supervising crew members with a focus on training & development initiatives that enhance team performance.
