With a reputation for excellence and innovation, this firm is a destination for discerning clients and design professionals alike.*Position Overview:**Position Overview:*We are seeking a talented and technically skilled *Interior Designer* to join the firm's growing design team. This role will involve close collaboration with Senior Designers and other Interior Designers across all phases of the design process—from initial concept to final installation. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in design, excellent proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Excell and SketchUp, and a team-oriented mindset.This is a *full-time, onsite role* based in St. Petersburg, FL. Regular in-person collaboration with the design team, clients, vendors, and project partners is essential.The goal of this position is to grow with the company and after 12 months of proven successful work training the individual may qualify for a new compensation program as potential Lead Designer. Lead designers earn commissions on assigned, managed and closed projects.*Key Responsibilities**Design Development & Execution** Collaborate with Senior Designers and peers to develop creative concepts, materials palettes, and design narratives* Assist in creating presentation materials, including mood boards, concept imagery, and 3D renderings* Draft precise floor plans, elevations, and technical documentation using *AutoCAD*, *Revit and* *SketchUp** *Prepare project invoices ** *Collaborate with senior designers on design** Ensure all design deliverables are complete, organized, and aligned with project vision and requirements*Project Management & Coordination** Support the execution of project timelines, budgets, and procurement in coordination with project leads* Participate in site visits, client meetings, and vendor walkthroughs to track progress and troubleshoot issues* Liaise with vendors, contractors, and fabricators to maintain design intent and quality standards*Client Engagement** Attend client presentations and meetings alongside the design team* Incorporate client feedback into evolving design solutions* Maintain a polished, professional, and responsive presence throughout client interactions*Technical & Industry Expertise** Utilize *Revit, AutoCAD* and *SketchUp* to create clear, compelling design documentation* Stay current with trends in interior design, materials, finishes, and product sourcing*Qualifications**Experience** Minimum *5 years of professional experience* in interior design*Technical Skills** *Required:* Proficiency in *AutoCAD* and *SketchUp** Preferred: Familiarity with *Adobe Creative Suite* and *Microsoft Office Excel**Core Competencies** Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, and space planning* Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven mindset* Must have a *reliable form of transportation**Compensation & Benefits** *Pay:* $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year* 401(k) after 1 year of employment* Paid time off (after 6 month probationary period)* Health care stipend after 90 days of employment*Join a design-driven, highly collaborative team in one of St. Petersburg’s most recognized and innovative firms.*Apply now to be considered.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Employee discount* Paid time offApplication Question(s):* Tell me about a time where you had to meet with competing deadlines.
